Lovely rosettes of Azurite from the famous Chessy mines of France. These mines are long closed and I understand these specimens were found in the 1800s. This specimen is a spherical cluster of crystals of gorgeous, translucent blue color. One area has small crystals of Malachite after Azurite attached. There appears to be contacting or damage in one small area on what I would call the bottom, but could still be viewed 360 degrees as a thumbnail.
