Rare Tanzanite specimen composed of multiple bladed crystals that form fan-shaped clusters. This fan-shaped bladed habit is uncommon for Tanzanite. In addition to the fine Tanzanite, this specimen has a number of the other accessory minerals this locality is famous for, including yellow Prehnite, Graphite, and transparent Quartz crystals, mostly on the back side. This is a floater well crystallized all around. This specimen originally sold years ago on the Trinity Minerals site for $750 (sold the first day, I remember). It comes with the old Trinity Minerals label. I later purchased the specimen from a collection when it was offfered for sale. A great opportunity to get a large Tanzanite at auction.
