Stunning single crystal of Magnesioaxinite (Axinite-Mg) from Tanzania. These are found as a biproduct of mining for Tanzanite and are only seldom found. This is a good one, with glassy luster, transparency, and nice purple coloration. This is the most complete Magnesioaxinite crystal I've ever seen, with crystal faces along the entire outer surface edges. There is minor edge chipping, but it's still a great one.
