Specimens like these are often called 'pseudomorphs' of one mineral replacing another. In reality, this is an 'epimorph' of
Quartz after Fluorite. The Quartz grew on the top of the Fluorite, then natural fluids etched away just the Fluorite
leaving a perfect cast of the former crystals. A very clean, old collection example from Bohemia.
