Terminated deep green Chromian rich Diopside crystal. This crystal came from a pocket opened in December 2007 that produced crystals of exceptional color, much better than typical Merelani Diopsides. For more information on this find, refer to page 77 of the January-February 2009 issue of the Mineralogical Record. Great luster, complete all around and undamaged, size 2.6 x 1.2 x 0.8 cm.
