Rare old specimen of Dioptase and Plancheite replacing scalenohedral Calcite crystals. The crystals reach 1.3cm in length. These are from a small find found way back in the 1920s. The Mineralogical Record has an article on these specimens in the November-December 2005 issue. According to the article, the Calcites were first replaced by the Dioptase with are in turn partially replaced by Plancheite. Ex. Kent England collection and very rare to find for sale.
