Broken HIll is one of those localities that has produced some spectacular minerals, however not in quantities and long ago, therefore specimens from here are less known. They do occassionally surface and this is one. This came from Cal Graber perhaps 10 years ago and his label lists the species as Vanadanite, however Mindat shows a very similar piece as Vanadian Pyromorphite, and it certainly looks more like Pyromorphite to me. The crystals stand straight up from a Smithsonite covered matrix and are a translucent golden yellow in color. There is one damaged crystal on the left side, otherwise perfect condition.
