Elbaite var. Indicolite

Complete, terminated Indicolite crystal. Gem quality crystal I purchased out of a parcel of gem rough from an Afghan dealer perhaps 10 years ago. Excellent blue color near the termination grading to a blue/green in lower portions of the crystal. There is a shallow chip on the termination, otherwise undamaged.A little dark in low lighting, but better than first photo and transparency readily shows in most lighting.
